Wendy Williams Hunter was born on July 18, 1964, in Asbury Park, New Jersey, U.S. Wendy Williams is an American broadcaster and also writer. From 2008 until 2021, she served as a presenter on the nationally broadcast discussion show The Wendy Williams Show.

Wendy Williams Early Life
On July 18, 1964, Wendy Joan Williams was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She is the second of Shirley and Thomas Dwayne Williams' three children. Shirley taught special education, and Thomas was a teacher and school principal. Thomas was the first black school administrator in Red Bank, New Jersey, in 1969. The couple had a total of three master's degrees. The family relocated to the primarily white, upper-middle-class suburb of Wayside in Ocean Township, New Jersey, after the race riots in Asbury Park in the year 1970. They went to a Baptist church and spent every summer in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, the vacation spot for African Americans. Doctors advised Williams to take medication as a child to manage her hyperactivity. She had a negative view of herself because of the diet her parents made her follow after she put on some weight in elementary school. Williams also served as a volunteer candy striper while a Girl Scout Brownie. Her parents anticipated that she would work as a nurse.

Wendy Williams Husband
Bertrand "Bert" Girigorie was the first husband of Williams. In her memoirs, she uses a pseudonym to allude to him and states that they got divorced roughly 18 months after they split after five months of marriage. In 1997, Williams married Kevin Hunter, her second husband, whom she had first met in the year 1994. Before giving birth to their son who is Kevin Samuel, on August 18, 2000, she had a number of miscarriages. Williams then filed for divorce in April 2019 citing irreconcilable differences after Hunter had a child with a mistress.
