Taylor Swift has reportedly decided to cancel her membership at the upscale NYC club, Casa Cipriani, following the leak of photos featuring her and her now ex-boyfriend, Matty Healy, during a date there last month.
A source revealed that the 33-year-old singer, known for hits like “Lover,” terminated her membership after club guests violated the no-photo policy by posting pictures of her with Matty, 34.
As a consequence, the club permanently expelled two members for taking the unauthorized photos, while another member was placed on suspension and required to reapply for membership.
Despite reports of Taylor Swift’s membership termination, the club refuted the claims, stating, “Casa Cipriani revoked memberships to a few members for infringing our club rules.”
According to a source speaking to the publication last month, “at least three members got kicked out for taking pictures of Taylor.”
“Taylor came knowing the policy, and then had to leave because of the photos,” the source added.
The club also issued a memo to its members, emphasizing the importance of respecting the privacy of fellow members and warning that violations of these policies would result in immediate membership revocation.
Earlier this year, the hitmaker parted ways with British actor Joe Alwyn, 32, after a six-year relationship.
A source close to the couple disclosed, “The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows,” with Page Six reporting that the breakup occurred “a few weeks” before it was publicly revealed in April.
Swift and the rocker’s romance surfaced in May, amid speculation that they had been dating for several weeks. However, a close friend of the star confirmed on Monday that Taylor was “single” once again.
The “Dear Reader” hitmaker dated the “I Always Want to Die” singer for more than a month after her breakup with her boyfriend of six years, actor Joe Alwyn.
Regarding Alwyn, there are reports that he is “disappointed and embarrassed” by Swift’s new breakup anthem, “You’re Losing Me,” which she released last month, as per The Mirror.
