A man has died and another is in a serious condition following a horrific gyrocopter crash in NSW bushland
Emergency services raced to Allworth, about 25km north of Raymond Terrace, about 4.30pm on Saturday to reports of a gyrocopter crash in bushland off The Buckets Way.
Police officers from the Port Stephens-Hunter District located a 70-year-old man deceased at the scene.
Another 53-year-old man had suffered serious injuries.
He was treated at the scene before being flown to John Hunter Hospital.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident is underway.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
