In 2020, singer Olivia O’Brien acknowledged her past relationship with Pete Davidson, who is currently dating Kim Kardashian. She shared this revelation during a recent episode of the “BFFs” podcast with Dave Portnoy. O’Brien disclosed that the Saturday Night Live alum terminated their relationship through a text message in October 2020, around the time he started seeing Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor.
The podcast host, Dave Portnoy, surprised O’Brien by bringing up the topic of her relationship with Davidson, following speculation from the celebrity gossip Instagram account DeuxMoi. Portnoy’s question caught O’Brien off guard, and she expressed surprise at the mention of her past relationship with Davidson.
Portnoy then shared an anonymous submission from the gossip site, alleging that Davidson had ended his relationship with a “B-list pop star” to pursue a romance with Dynevor.
O’Brien expressed her surprise at the revelation being known and mentioned that Davidson had communicated his decision to end their relationship via text. She acknowledged him as a “nice guy” and described him as “really sweet.”
She recounted his message, stating, “He texted me and was like, ‘I’m seeing someone so I can’t.’ And it was her [Dynevor].”
However, a representative for Davidson disputed the claim, telling Page Six, “There is no truth to this. They were friends and hung out a few times.”
Prior to being romantically linked with Kim Kardashian, the King of Staten Island star was in a five-month relationship with Phoebe Dynevor before their split in August 2021. Reports from The Sun suggested that their busy work schedules and long-distance dating led to their breakup.
