Anchor Brian Williams left MSNBC and NBC News

Anchor Brian Williams left MSNBC and NBC News. Brian Williams, a 28-year veteran of NBC News and MSNBC, left the company at the end of 2021. "This is the end of a chapter and the beginning of another," Williams said in a statement. "There are many things I want to do, and I'll pop up again somewhere." Williams expressed deep gratitude to NBC, saying the network "is a part of me and always will be." For the first time in ages, he is likely to become a free agent. William has been anchoring “The 11th Hour,” an end-of-the-day newscast and political talk program for the past five years. He also mentioned: "I ask all those who are a part of our loyal viewing audience to remain loyal. The 11th Hour will remain in good hands, produced by the best team in cable news."

Petition to Fire Alison Morris

A few months back, many people on social media called out the MSNBC anchor to quit after claims that she used a racial slur on live TV. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Change.org petition had surpassed 100,000 digital signatures. MSNBC anchor Alison Morris appeared to stammer the 'N-word' during a live broadcast while reporting on the Kobe Bryant helicopter tragedy on Sunday. Morris was soon assaulted with negative tweets and a petition calling for her resignation. Morris strongly denied using the 'N-word' and issued an apology to the public via Twitter. The majority of Twitter doesn't believe she said "Nakers." MSNBC has not replied to the situation or made any comments.
