The talented soccer star was born MichaelJerome Williams Jr. in Memphis, Tennessee on May 28, 1986. His father’s name is Michael Jerome Williams Sr. while his mother is Denise Oher. Michael had a rough childhood experience. As a result of his parents’ neglect of their duties, Oher was left to his fate. Most of the time he was homeless because he wanted to get used to living in different nursing homes. It was evident that he was devastated when it affected his academic performance.
In the meantime he frequently repeated his first or second grade. The situation was so ugly that he attended 11 different schools during his first nine years at school. Unfortunately, he lost his father during his senior year at school. After a while, his life took a positive turn when he was adopted by Sean and Leigh Tuohy in 2004. Soon after completing his college career, Michael was invited to compete on the NFL drills in 2008. He put in a remarkable performance there and was later selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2008 draft. After the draft, Michael signed the Ravens to a five-year, $13.8 million contract.
Additionally, on February 3, 2013, Oher dropped his first Super Bowl ring with the Baltimore Ravens. In addition, he became a notable figure in American football, so much so that in March 2015 he signed a four-year contract with Tennessee Titans. That contract was valued at $20 million. Unfortunately, he was released by the Titans the following year.
