BIOGRAPHY
Mexican actor and acting teacher, Luis Felipe Tovar studied acting at the Fine Arts Theater school, at the International School of Film and Television in Havana. His on-screen career began in 1986, appearing in popular Mexican films such as Chido Guan, el tacos de oro (1986), The Naked City (1989), among others. Since his career began, Luis Felipe Tovar was the recipient of three Ariel Awards: in 1993 for Principle and End , in 1995 for The Alley of Miracles , and in 1997 for Sin Remitente . In 2003, he dropped out of acting school to open a bar called Muxe, whose audience is mainly gay. His school moved it to the Country Club neighborhood and in 2013 he relocated it with new facilities in the Narvarte neighborhood to continue with his vocation as a teacher. He also starred in the 2005 telenovela Los Sánchez on TV Azteca and Montecristo in 2006, an adaptation of the novel by Alejandro Dumas.
