BIOGRAPHY
The actor, writer, director and producer, José Elías Moreno Padilla, was born on November 12, 1910 in Unión de San Antonio , Jalisco, Mexico . From a very young age he emigrated to Mexico City to fulfill his dream of being an actor. He participated in some works while studying Philosophy and Letters.
He witnessed the emergence of sound cinema in Mexico and had his first opportunity in 1937, as an extra in the film Nostradamus . However, that same year he made his debut as a supporting actor in the production Bajo el cielo de México. He also participated in films such as The Abandoned, The Aviary, If Adelita Were With Another, The Small House, The Three Perfect Marrieds, Two Kinds of Care, The Shadow of the Caudillo and The Little Father, among many others . He acted alongside great figures from the golden age of Mexican cinema such as Luis Aguilar, Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, Sara García, Dolores del Río, Cantinflas and Sergio Bustamante, among others. He died on July 15, 1969, in Mexico City, in a car accident.
