Jimmy Fallon Wife, Mother, Children, Family, Age, Net worth, Height, Divorce

Sometimes a child’s passion for something is an indication of what they would become in the future. As a kid, Jimmy Fallon was literally obsessed with watching the late-night comedy show. Saturday Night Live (SNL). Then his parents would tape up the clean parts to see him and later he and his sister would act out sketches from the show with their friends. It didn’t turn out to be a mere childhood obsession, as his love for the show stayed with him through college.

Jimmy, then 21, had dropped out of college with comedy in mind in 1995 to pursue a career in comedy, and about three years later his lifelong dream of being a part of his beloved Saturday Night Live show was fulfilled after he was commissioned to join the comedy program as a performer. He stayed on the show until 2004 and became a star while working on it.

Jimmy left the program and starred in the 2004 and 2005 films, Taxi and Height. He later returned to television in 2009 as the host of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and in 2014 he moved to The Tonight Show.

Jimmy Fallon Bio (Age)

Born James Thomas Fallon’s full name on September 19, 1974 in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, it was clear what career the talented young man would pursue from an early age. That was because he was always good at impersonating other characters and he was also passionate about music.

He graduated from Saugerties High School in 1992, and while there he participated in most stage productions and twice served as the class social director. He later transferred to the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, to study computer science. However, it turned out they were trying to fit a round pin in a square hole, and Jimmy dropped out of the course and joined Communications for his senior year.

As a student, Jimmy Fallon would take stand-up gigs and appearances at Caroline’s comedy club in Times Square on the weekends. However, when he could no longer suppress the urge to unleash his creativity, he dropped out of college, not thinking that he had only one semester left to graduate in 1995.

He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career in comedy. 14 years later he went back to school to finish what he had started and eventually received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications. The institution also awarded him his diploma after reviewing a portfolio of his television work and earned him experience points.

His capital

Aside from his comedy, which primarily includes hosting The Late Night Show, the entertainer also makes his living from high-profile shows like the MTV Video Music Awards, which he hosted in 2016. In addition, Jimmy Fallon makes money from the sales of his books and comedy albums.

When Fallon became part of the Late Night Show in 2009, his annual salary was $5 million, and when he eventually took over the show from Jay Leno, his paycheck grew to about $11 million a year. Adding to his other endeavors, his net worth increased to $25-$35 million.

Fallon’s mother

Jimmy Fallon is the son of James Fallon Sr. and Gloria Fallon. Both parents were seen from the studio audience on his first episode of “ The Tonight Show ” in 2014. His mother is said to have been his biggest fan from day one and they had a very close relationship.

Sadly, Jimmy’s mother died of an unknown cause on November 4, 2017 at NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, New York. Tonight Show episodes have been cancelled. A week after his mother’s death, Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to her and described her as the best audience.

His family – wife, children, divorce

Fallon is married to Nancy Juvonen, a film producer and co-owner of the Flower Films production company. She was born on May 18, 1967, seven years and a few months older than her husband. Before entering the film industry, she studied at the University of California, where she earned degrees in sociology and corporate pedagogy.

Jimmy and Nancy met on the set of the 2005 film, Height, and began dating in May 2007 after Drew Barrymore, who was working with Jimmy on the aforementioned film, introduced her during a birthday party she (Drew) was throwing for Nancy threw.

Without wasting much time, Jimmy proposed to Nancy with an engagement ring designed by Neil Lane just three months after they started dating. The engagement took place while they were at Nancy’s family summer home in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire.

According to the comedian, he was so nervous that the result was that his face looked like he was smelling burnt toast. Luckily, the night ended well for him as Nancy said yes to his proposal and they tied the knot on December 22, 2007.

Five years after their union, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Winnie, in July 2013, and second daughter, Frances, joined the family in December 2014. Both girls were born through a surrogate mother.

Before the kids came along, most of their fans speculated that the duo were either not ready to have kids yet or didn’t want to have kids at all. However, after welcoming their first child, Jimmy Fallon revealed that he and his wife had been dealing with fertility issues the whole time and eventually decided on surrogacy after trying other options.

The power couple has been rumored to have nearly broken up many times over the past few years, but despite the rumours, they are still very much married and happy.
