Matthew Daddario is an American actor and television personality best known for the TV show Shadowhunters . After graduation, Matthew Daddario seemed to have taken some time to find his footing, professionally. After two years of taking inspiration from his sister, he warmly embraced acting. His first chance to use his talents came in 2012 with a role in Drake Doremus’ drama film Atmen. That same year, Daddario joined Kens Scott on comedy-drama Delivery Man, in which the prolific director focused on the life of a delivery man who is being pursued by some thugs for the $80,000 debt. The movie was released in 2013 and the character “Channing” played by Daddario, although not that tall, came out pretty impressive. The next year, Daddario had a role in the sports drama filmIf the game is big, a role that seemed to best suit his individuality.
He rose to worldwide prominence in 2015 after being listed in the cast of the Supernatural series Shadowhunters and being cast to portray Alec Lightwood. The acclaimed series brings Cassandra Clare’s serial novels to life; Mortal Instruments and it aired in 2016. It is currently in its third season and has overshadowed other series so far.
