 It has been revealed that Lucy has an excellent career opportunity in her hands. She can even join a Program happening in Sacramento that would train her for some serious life changing assignments in the future.  Working as an undercover has been her dream for a long time. At this point, her mind wanders back and forth knowing nothing on what to do next. It is also difficult to guess what her next move will be. Lucy has already been dealing with a sense of serious guilt over what happened to Chris. She will never feel better if she decided to leave him. Chris has been a very important person in Lucy’s life and she will be choosing to stay by his side.

Does Lucy Chen Die In The Rookie?

In an episode, the team could track Lucy’s location at Caleb’s hideout and found out that she was buried in an oil barrel. Lucy was found unconscious due to the lack of Oxygen. Tim Brad is forced to give CPR to revive Lucy, who is unconscious. Gladly, Lucy wakes up in a hospital and is recovering under the watching eye of Tim. Fans loved the scenes of Lucy and Tim together. In the end it is clear that Lucy Chen doesnt die in the show. Morever, the co-workers have kept their relationship strictly platonic. It seems the writers are planning to make the co-workers get romantically involved.

For the past four seasons, The Rookie has teased Chen and Bradford and called them “ Chenford”.  The Rookie begins with John Nolan, Jackson West and Lucy Chen joining the LAPD as Rookie officers.
