He was born Guy Ramsay Fieri on the 22nd day of January 1968 in Columbus, Ohio but raised in Ferndale, USA. His parents ran Abraxas and Dave’s saddlery business in Ferndale. Guy enrolled at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, where he received his bachelor’s degree in hotel management in 1990 after graduating from Ferndale High School.
Coming from Italy, Ireland and Spain background it’s not surprising that he fell in love with exploring dishes and cooking. He had his first love for cooking during his excursion to the love country France. With a little more exposure and help, he landed his first professional job at Stouffer. This gave him experience in the early days of the career path he had carved out for himself. Gathering his own kitchen and restaurant ideas, he launched his first food show on the Food Network channel Guy’s Big Bite sometime in June 2006.
The show projected him to the public as a television host and chef who prepares food in one of the fastest possible ways and in the least amount of time. By the time it wrapped in November 2016, the show had become a fan favorite, with viewers from all over the world watching it.
