Erin Osweiler: 5 things you didn’t know about Brock Osweiler’s wife

Wives and friends of sports stars, they turn as much as their famous husbands/boyfriends and Erin Osweiler (née Costales) who, on February 28, 2015, formed a close bond with former Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler is not no different.

The world is so interested in the lives of women like Erin even came up with a name (WAGS) to describe them. By simply being married to a professional athlete, you are officially a celebrity. While some choose to stay away from the spotlight (like Erin), others welcome fame with open arms and even take the opportunity to boost it further.

Erin Osweiler might be one of the quieter ones (yh! she’s really in the know even though her Instagram account is ‘private’), but there are still some facts about her worth knowing, so let’s jump right into Discovery.

1. Erin has been with her NFL star-in-law since the start of her career.

Yup! She encouraged him long before the NFL cheerleaders. The duo had previously met before Brock’s NFL debut in 2012. The story goes that they were introduced by a mutual friend and soon began dating.

Brock took the relationship to the next level when he popped the question to her at their Scottsdale home. “It was unbelievably sweet, perfect and from the bottom of my heart,” Erin described as Brock got down on one knee!

2. It rained on their wedding day, but the couple still threw a gorgeous wedding party.

Erin and Brock wanted their wedding to be at their dream wedding venue – the Silverleaf Club in Scottdale, Arizona. They hired the services of wedding planner, Amy Mancuso, and she was sure to deliver it. When unexpected rain fell on her, Mancuso covered her entirely as she had a relief tent erected to serve the 120 guests so the outdoor nuptials could continue. “Our wedding planner saved the day!” Erin told Insider Weddings.

For their first dance, the couple went to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” The event also included a performance by the Brock University coach who sang “Sweet Caroline.”

3. About two years after they got married, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Blake Everly Osweiler.

Both Erin and her husband love children, you could say they love visiting sick children – a trip to the latter’s Instagram page reveals it all. So we expected theirs to arrive soon. In late 2016, TMZ announced that Erin was preparing her first baby, due in April 2017. And on April 9, 2017, Brock took to her Instagram page to reveal her new arrival, a healthy baby girl. they called Blake. Since then, he has been posting photos of her on his page.

And then there were 3… Welcome to the Blake Everly world.

4. Mr. and Mrs. Osweiler had a small encounter with some haters in Scottsdale during March 2016.

The Osweilers were enjoying themselves at a pizzeria called Joe’s Pizza in Scottsdale around 2 a.m. on a Saturday morning when a group including a man and a woman heckled them. The lady was aggressively approaching Erin when Brock pushed her away. In retaliation, the man shoved Brock in the back but the NFL star turned away and guided his family safely into the car and zoomed out. The cause of the situation was unclear, but Brock did good to walk away. Police officers at the scene later confirmed that no crime had been committed. Also, no one has complained. TMZ has footage from the night.

5 Erin Isn’t Just A Pretty Face, She Knows A Lot About Football. She even helped her husband learn the Texans’ playbook after he signed that whopping $72 million contract which, sadly, was to become short-lived.

Weeks after the pizzeria situation, Brocka signed a $72 million pact with the Houston Texans, after which he was challenged to learn of the Texan infraction. Well, with his help mate, it wouldn’t be too hard for Brock to pull through. After learning the contents of the 18-page booklet, Brock practiced with Erin, who was acting as the offensive coordinator, while reading the entire play to him.
