Dell Curry is an American athlete, former professional basketball player, and sportscaster. He had played in the National Basketball Association from 1986 to 2002. Curry was the leading player in three-point field goals and scoring (9,839). During his time in the NBA, he was one of the best shooters.
Curry currently works as a color commentator on Charlotte Hornets television. He co-commentates along with the other two members, Stephanie Ready and Eric Collins. As a father, Dell’s sons Steph and Seth Curry are equally famous players in the NBA.

Dell Curry was born on June 25, 1964 in Harrisonburg, Virginia as Wardell Stephen Curry. He grew up in Grottoes along with his brothers. But there is not much information about Dell’s parents. During his high school days, he used the coach’s barn for daily shooting practice. As a result, he earned the highest score of all time in the history of the school. For all of his dedication and accomplishments, he was awarded a McDonald’s All-Star title in 1982 .
In addition to basketball, he had also played baseball. The Texas Rangers selected Dell in 1982 for the Major League Baseball Draft. Therefore, he had won state championships in both sports. Currently, he is among the franchise’s all-time statistical leaders in points, 3-point field goals, attempts and percentage.
