BIOGRAPHY
The Mexican actor and producer, Dario Yazbek Bernal, was born on November 30, 1990 in Mexico City, Federal District. From a very young age he was in contact with the world of entertainment, since he is the son of the director of photography Sergio Yazbek and the famous actress Patricia Bernal. He is the half-brother of the famous actor, Gael García Bernal, protagonist of the Oscar-nominated film, Amores Perros (2000).
Dario debuted in 2009 with the film Daniel and Ana (2009), which narrated a tragic event between two brothers who are kidnapped while leaving their house; The film was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Subsequently, he made the short films Dead Happy (2010) and Todo se puede (2014), the following year he participated in his second feature film, Los Paisajes (2015), in which he shared credits with the young promise of Mexican cinema, Sebastián Aguirre.
In 2016 he continued his career and appeared in Sangre alba (2016), nominated for Best Short Film at the Morelia International Film Festival and the New Orleans Film Festival. Two years later he participated in two television series, El Candidate Ray and in the Netflix series, La Casa de las Flores , directed by Manolo Caro and in which he plays Julián de la Mora, one of the leading characters that is causing more controversial, since it is about the bisexual son of Virginia de la Mora, the matriarch played by Verónica Castro.
