BIOGRAPHY
Darío José Pie Arnaiz, was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

He studied at the EON forum, an acting school directed by Sergio Bustamante, where he met actresses and singers such as Regina Orozco and Astrid Hadad, continued his studies at the CEA of Televisa, and later took cabaret workshops with Jesusa Rodríguez. He was a student of: Rafael Esteban, Morris Savariego Hugo Argüelles, Phil de Kanter, Juan José Gurrola, Héctor Mendoza and Flora Dantus.

He began his career by acting in official children’s theater. He was a troupe in musical theater. He worked for three years in a nightclub under the direction of Fernando Luján, alongside Lupe Vázquez, Martha Ofelia Galindo, Fernando Chianguerotti, Ireland Mora and Gilberto Pérez Gallardo. He co-directed A Destiempo with Antonio Serrano, a post-modernist work. He directed and co-created costumes in La Occisa , the show that made Astrid Hadad famous. He got his start in soap operas thanks to the fact that Televisa’s casting manager at the time, Martha Oliver, discovered him in the staging Fedra, by Héctor Mendoza, starring Ofelia Medina.

Darío has participated in soap operas such as Light and Shadow , Balada por un amor, Alcanzar una Estrella and Marea brava. He has also participated in films such as Perfume immediate effect, Casi divas, Santitos, Principle y fin and El amor de tu vida SA , La Cuarta Compañía, among others. He has also been a voice actor in films such as The Incredibles , Another Chicken and Eggs Movie and Long Road to Tijuana . His career was consolidated with the television series Desde Gayola , in which he presented the character “La Roña”, his creation based on María Félix.
