The model was born on August 29, 1994 as Courtney Alexis Stodden in Tacoma, Washington, USA. They were born as the daughter of Alex John Stodden and Krista Kay Keller. They have two siblings: sisters, Ashley and Brittany. From a very young age, the model was passionate about singing and writing her own music. Stodden once revealed that they were bullied at the age of 12 due to their mature appearance and later continued their studies by being homeschooled through a private online Christian academy.
