Sitcom Barney Miller is an English-language American television series created by Danny Arnold and Theodore J. Flicker. It was initially released on 23 January 1975 and lasted until 20 May 1982 for eight seasons with 170 episodes. Hal Linden, Barbara Barrie, Abe Vigoda, Max Gail, Ron Glass, Jack Soo, Gregory Sierra, James Gregory, Steve Landesberg, and Ron Carey stars in the series. It was premiered on the A.B.C. network in an NTSC picture format. Sony Pictures Television distributed it.

Ronald Earle Glass was an American actor. He was well-known as Ron Glass and best known for his roles as Detective Ron Harris in the television sitcom Barney Miller. Ron also acted in Good Times, When Things Were Rotten, Crash, Barney Miller, The Twilight Zone, The Royal Family, Aladdin, Superman: The Animated Series, Jack & Jill Shepherd Book, Firefly, Serenity, and many more. Ron was in the industry for over 40 years. But, On 25 November 2016, Ron Glass died of respiratory failure at the age of 71. Then he was interred at the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.

Abraham Charles Vigoda was, commonly known as Abe Vigoda, was an American actor. Abe was best known for his roles in The Godfather, Barney Miller, and Fish. He also acted in television as well as films such as The Devil's Daughter, The Big Stuffed Dog, Prancer, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Home of Angels, Saturday Night Live, Underworld, Witness to the Mob, Toma, Mannix, Cannon, As the World Turns, Santa Barbara, Monsters, Law & Order, The Norm Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and more. On 26 January 2016, Abe Vigoda died of natural causes at his daughter's home in New Jersey at the age of 94. Later, on 31 January 2016, Abe's funeral was held, including celebrities and personalities. Abe was buried in the Beth David Cemetery at Elmont, Nassau County, New York.

Jack Soo was an American singer and actor, best known for his role in Barney Miller. Jack has been acted in both films and on television. Some of his works are Flower Drum Song, The Oscar, The Green Berets, Valentine's Day, The Monk, Hawaii Five-O, The Jimmy Stewart Show, The Odd Couple, Ironside, Police Story, Barney Miller, and Busting Loose, and more.
