BIOGRAPHY
Alexandra Vandernoot, whose father is a conductor and whose mother is a dancer, trained at the Brussels Conservatory of Dramatic Art. She made her first film appearance in Babel Opera by Andre Delvaux in 1985. After a few roles in Belgian feature films, she tried to make a career in the United States with Strangers by Joan Tewkesbury (1991) while participating in Canada in the Highlander series .
Alexandra Vandernoot films a lot for French television from the 90s onwards while continuing to appear in feature films ( Le Souper by Edouard Molinaro , 1992; L’Affaire by Sergio Gobbi , 1994; Prêt-à-porter by Robert Altman , 1994). Despite notable roles ( Charmant Garçon by Patrick Chesnais , 2000) and a continued collaboration with Francis Veber ( Le Jaguar , 1996; Le Diner de cons , 1998; Le Placard , 2000), she remains mostly confined to secondary roles. .
