BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Dijon, Alban Lenoir began acting in the early 2000s with several small film roles, whether in the thriller Le Convoyeur (2003) by Nicolas Boukhrief or the comedy Les Aristos (2005) directed by Charlotte de Turckheim. But it is mainly on television that the young actor multiplies his appearances, in episodes of television series such as Family Celebration, Boulevard du Palais, Central Night and Kaamelott where he plays Ferghus, a recurring character in the fourth season.

In addition to his acting career, Alban Lenoir is also a stuntman. This is how he worked on the sets of films such as Les Brigades du Tigre (2005), Les Femmes de l’ombre (2008), Taken (id.) or La princesse de Montpensier (2010).

In 2008, the actor became Klaus, a superhero with ambitions to become the strongest man in the world in the comedy series Hero Corp, which he co-created with Simon Astier (whom he had already worked with on the set of Kaamelott). While playing this character with the emblematic battle cry (“Pinage!”) for several years, Alban Lenoir continued his breakthrough in the cinema where he played a series of roles, such as the thriller Gibraltar (2013) where he played opposite Gilles Lellouche and Tahar Rahim or Les Gamins (id.) via his character of Mélanie Bernier’s boyfriend who is obsessed with “elderly” women.

It was with Goal of the Dead the following year that the actor found his first lead role. This zombie invasion during a football match has the particularity of being in two parts (one directed by Thierry Poiraud, the other by Benjamin Rocher) and of having been released directly on VOD and DVD after a low theatrical release.

2015 marked a decisive turning point in the career of Alban Lenoir, who landed the lead role in Un Français, that of a skinhead seeking to get rid of the violence he has within him. His muscular and lived-in performance impresses. He then reunited with Benjamin Rocher for the action film Antigang where he played a cop with unconventional methods under the orders of Jean Reno. While continuing to shine on television in the comedy series Lazy Company, he played Gregor d’Hossegor, a vindictive surfer with a dubious look in Brice 3 opposite Jean Dujardin.

He then appeared in two more intimate films: The Sower, in the midst of an all-female cast for whom he was coveted, and Angel’s Mouth with Marion Cotillard playing a young alcoholic mother. Solicited for muscular roles, Allban plays a GIGN gendarme in L’Intervention and a robber accused of murder in Balle Perdue (big hit on Netflix). But the actor also takes part in lighter registers, such as with the feel-good movies The Glittering Shrimps (and its sequel) and Good Conduct, or BigBug by Jean-Pierre Jeunet.
